I don’t buy into the “light it, shoot it, fix it” philosophy when it comes to photography. My theory is that if you light a photo well, you should never have to retouch it in post production to make it look spectacular. Whether it comes to photo, video or setting up your studio I’m all about the raw quality and thinking outside the box. I do lighting consultations, headshots and portraiture, video and post production. My personal medium of choice will always be film, it’s the difference between reading a hard cover novel and reading an e-book and there is a quality to it that can’t be captured with digital cameras. But for all professional work, I primarily shoot digital – it’s all about the workflow.
